Brisbane · UX, search and conversion

Your website should bring in bookings, not just visitors.

I help clinics, studios and local service businesses get found on Google and AI search, turn more visitors into bookings, and prove what's working with real numbers.

What I do

Most agencies stop at the click.

Ranking on Google only matters if people book once they land. I work on all three parts of the journey together, so nothing gets lost between them.

Get found

Search, maps and AI answers

Show up when locals search for what you do, in Google, Google Maps and assistants like ChatGPT.

  • Local SEO and service pages
  • Google Business Profile and reviews
  • AI search visibility
  • Listings cleaned up everywhere
Get chosen

A site that turns visits into bookings

Clear pages, real photos, honest prices and a booking button people can't miss on a phone.

  • UX and conversion (CRO) audits
  • Heatmaps and session recordings
  • Copy, pricing and booking flows
  • Website design and rebuilds
Prove it

Numbers you can actually read

Every month you see which sources bring bookings, not just visits, and what we change next.

  • Google Analytics 4 set up properly
  • Bookings and calls tracked as conversions
  • AI assistant traffic tracked separately
  • A plain-English monthly report

You work with me directly: the person who reviews your site is the person who fixes it.

Who I work with

Businesses where one new client is worth a lot.

If each new client is worth hundreds or thousands of dollars a year, a few extra bookings a month pays for the work many times over.

Health

Clinics and allied health

Physio, massage, chiro, dental and cosmetic clinics. Rebate wording, booking flows and copy written with Australia's health advertising rules in mind.

Fitness

Gyms, studios and martial arts

Free trials people actually book, timetables that read well on a phone, and photos that show your real coaches and members.

Local services

Trades and professional services

Quote requests and calls tracked from every source, so you know which suburbs and searches bring in the work.

Software

Software and SaaS teams

UX for complex products, from seven years designing enterprise software: workflows, dashboards and design systems.

Services and prices

Start small. Keep what works.

Most clients start with an audit, act on the quick wins, then move to monthly work once they see results. Fixed prices, agreed before we start.

Case study

Strong Hands Massage, Albion

A one-therapist remedial massage studio with outstanding reviews, held back by an old Wix site, a confusing booking page and listings that didn't match.

The starting point, October 2026

Great treatment. An online presence that undersold it.

The site was one page. Health fund rebates weren't mentioned anywhere. The booking page had duplicate menus and add-on descriptions with health claims the business couldn't back up.

5.0★Google rating, 100+ reviews
7New treatment and condition pages
17Unanswered reviews replied to
4Actions tracked: book, text, voucher and review clicks
  • Website

Moved off Wix to a new multi-page site with a page for each treatment and condition: sciatica, neck and shoulders, lower back, headaches and sports massage.

  • Booking

Rewrote every session and add-on description, removed the duplicate menu and the unsupported health claims, and added rebate details.

  • Google

Updated the business profile and services, replied to every review, and planned a steady schedule of posts and photos.

  • AI search

Marked up the site so Google and AI assistants can read prices, location, parking and FAQs.

  • Tracking

Set up Google Analytics and Search Console, with book, text and voucher clicks tracked and AI assistant visits shown as their own channel.

The new site launched in mid-October 2026. Google takes a few months to settle, so the full before-and-after report on bookings and rankings is due in January 2027.

About

Hi, I'm Emma.

I'm a UX designer with seven years designing software, most recently enterprise products at Veeam. Before that I grew from intern to UX Lead at CT4.

I've also spent ten years building and running websites on WordPress and Cloudflare, and I've sold UX and conversion audits to clients worldwide.

I started my first business, an aquafitness studio, before moving to Australia. It had more than 100 clients within two months. So I know what it's like when the website is one of a hundred jobs on your list.

Now I bring the same methods used on large software products to local businesses in Brisbane: research what people need, design it, then measure whether it worked.

Questions

Before you get in touch

Anything else? Email me and I'll reply within a business day.

Do I need a new website?
Usually not. Most sites can be improved where they are, on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or Shopify. I'll only suggest a rebuild if the current platform is holding you back, and I'll tell you why.
Am I locked into a contract?
Audits are one-off fixed prices. Monthly work has a three-month minimum, because search changes take time to show, then it's month to month with 30 days' notice.
What is AI search visibility?
More people now ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI answers for recommendations, like "best physio near Albion". I check whether your business is named, which sources the AI relies on, and get you listed in those places.
How will I know it's working?
Before we change anything, I record a baseline: bookings, calls, Google profile actions and rankings. Each monthly report compares against it. Bookings come first, because that's what pays the bills.
Do you use AI?
Yes, for research and first drafts, which keeps prices lower. I check every recommendation and every word myself before it reaches you or your customers.
Do you work outside Brisbane?
Yes. I meet Brisbane clients in person and work online with businesses anywhere in Australia.
